The Seventh String

Transcendental indie folk

Transcendental folk band The Seventh String blends Celtic, classical and rock twists into traditional American songwriting.

Sneak preview of "Witches' Reel," the first single from our debut album "Off To Starboard," coming January 2018

In 1591 Scotland, three women and the Earl of Bothwell were arrested for singing a song. Authorities accused them of stirring up a storm, endangering the life of the king at sea.

The Earl escaped. The women didn't survive.

We honor them, and carry their song forward.
